You have to visit the official website https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in of Indian Navy and click on the apply online link.

  • Candidates should register themselves by providing a valid Email ID & Mobile number. A verification link will be sent to the Email ID provided by the candidate. Please remember this Email ID for future
  • Candidate is advised to click on the link/copy-paste the link received in their Email ID to a web browser. Candidates will receive an OTP to the registered mobile number, which should be submitted to complete the registration process.
  • Candidates are required to login using Email ID & Password, which was given during the registration process.
  • After successful login to the portal, candidates will be provided with forms to furnish the required details vise. Personal, Academic, Address, Exam Centre’s Preferences in order to apply for the various posts (As per the eligibility) under this scheme.
  • After furnishing the requisite details for the applications to the various posts (As per the eligibility), candidates will be redirected to make the payment for the number of posts applied.
  • After completing the payment process successfully, candidates will be able to view/download/print the duly filled application form.

Phase-INET (INDIAN NAVY ENTRENCE TEST

The Indian Navy Entrance Test, or INET, will be used to select the candidates for further consideration. The Indian Navy Entrance Exam results would determine the shortlist. The process of shortlisting will be done state-by-state. If there are openings, the minimum scores required to be considered for further consideration in the selection process may differ between states. Been distributed according to state.

  1. There will be one mark assigned to each of the 100 computer-based questions on the exam.
  2. The exam will be objective in nature and bilingual (Hindi and English) with multiple choice questions.
  3. There will be four categories on the question paper: General Awareness, Science, Mathematics, and English.

  5. Penalty for Incorrect Response. Candidates should be aware that providing incorrect answers will result in a penalty (Negative Marking). For each question, there are four possible answers. One-fourth (0.25) of the marks allotted to each question for which the candidate provided an incorrect response will be subtracted as a penalty.
  6. Total Duration: 60 min. No. of Questions: 100

Phase-II

Physical Efficiency Test (Pet) & Physical Measurement

Candidates shortlisted in INET examination (Indian Navy Entrance Test) will be issued call-up letter for Stage II (PFT, Written examination & Recruitment Medical Examination). Stage-II will be conducted in the designated Indian Navy’s centers. The syllabus for Stage-II written exam is available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in & https://agniveernavy.cdac.in. Aadhar Card is mandatory for Stage-II.

Phase-III

Medical Examination

Candidates who pass the PFT will undergo a recruitment medical examination. Those who pass the recruitment medical exam will be added to a merit list. Those who are determined to be medically unfit

Candidates for the Recruitment Medical Examination will be given the option, if they so choose, to appeal the results of the test within a maximum of five days to a military hospital approved by the Indian Navy. Medical fitness certificates from hospitals other than the Indian Navy’s approved Military Hospitals will not be taken into consideration. It is not permitted to review or appeal further.

Merit List

Merit list will be prepared based on performance in Stage-II written exam, subject to qualification in Physical Fitness Test and Recruitment Medical Examination. Merit List for Agniveer (SSR) – male and female will be based on a state wise merit. The cut off marks for issue of call up letter for recruitment at INS Chilka may vary from state to state.
