You have to visit the official website https://rpf.indianrailways.gov.in of Railway Protection Force and click on the apply online link.

  • Click the check box to indicate that you have read and comprehended the instructions completely.
  • Fill Your Name, Date of Birth, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Education Board, State or Region, Category, Aadhaar Number (If Applicable), 10th Or Matriculation Roll Number, Year of Passing, Mobile Number, And Email Address, And Then Send in For Enrollment. As The Details Provided for Registration Cannot Be Modified After Submission, Please Make Sure All the Information Is Accurate Before Submitting.
  • The Candidate Will See Their Password and Registration Number After Submitting Their Registration Form. Along With the Registration Information, OTP (One-Time Passwords) Will Be Issued to The Registered Email Address and Mobile Number.
  • The Applicant Must Obtain Their OTP from Their Email and Mobile Device, Then Log in To Continue Filling Out the Application and Making the Payment. Throughout The Hiring Process, Candidates Should Make a Note of And Keep Their Registration Number Handy for Future Use. Requests For Registration Numbers Will Not Be Accepted by The Central Recruitment Committee.
  • The requirements for Educational Qualification, Gender, Religion, ESM, and Minority, Economically Backward Class, Age Reduction Eligibility Category, if Applicable, and Other Details will be available in the online application format.

Phase-I CBT

A Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV) will be an element of the entire recruitment procedure.

  1. COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)- The standard of examination will be graduation level for Sub-inspector and matric level for constable.
  2. Candidates will be required to answer all questions and shall be awarded 01(one) mark for each correct answer. Negative marks shall be awarded for every wrong answer. 1/3 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer. No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted
  3. Detailed instructions will be mentioned in the e-call letter for CBT regarding date, venue, reporting time, attendance, capture of biometric details, terminal/seat allotment etc.
  4. It will be necessary to obtain 35% marks (30 % marks by SC and ST candidates) to qualify in the CBT.
  5. Total Duration: 90 min. No. of Questions: 120

Phase-II

Physical Efficiency Test (Pet) & Physical Measurement

Candidates would be called for PET and PMT to the extent of ten times the category-wise total vacancy in the Group of Zonal Railways/RPSF announced, based on their performance in the CBT. But this upper bound could be raised or lowered as necessary to guarantee that there are suitable applicants for each vacancy that has been announced. It is required to pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and passing it will also qualify you. There are no points to be given.

Phase-III

Document Verification Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET & PMT, candidates will be called for Document Verification.
